Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was the first to achieve a perfect 10 in an Olympic occasion. Bela Karrolyi is an Romanian gymnastics instructor, who was later Comaneci's coach, first discovered Comaneci when she was just six years old. Her first competition was at the junior national championships in 1969 and finished 13th. She was the winner in the year 1970. At her first international competition in an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition for countries in the Communist bloc, she took home three gold medals. And in 1973 and 1975, she won awarded the All-around Junior Champion. At her first competition as a senior in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turishcheva the five-time European champion winning four gold and one silver medal. In 1976, she won the American Cup at the New York City Olympics. She also was the first female to ever dismount bars in parallel with backwards double salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The story of Carol Wayne into the realm of entertainment began as a teenager. Along with her sister Nina Wayne, she joined the traveling entertainment show known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 at Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her career in entertainment as a teenager. Early on she was a figure skater on the show Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. They featured ice skating shows with theatrical shows.
