April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began piano and guitar lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited curiosity. At the age of 12 when she wrote her first single Different. She spent lots of time when she was 14 making songs and practicing music. In the following months, she started taking notes together with her dad in LA and NY. Lockhart is a beauty and lifestyle influencer with an ever-growing fan base. She is a partner with the popular brand Ilia in partnership, and is also a lifestyle expert. She was born without a left hand and that makes her unique. But this isn't the only thing about her. Lockhart's Twitter profile does not conceal the fact that she is disabled, but neither does it make a point of it. It's a reminder. It's this That we all carry multiple identities and are way more diverse than we think we are. Lockhart talks through video from Nashville. "I don't intend to let it define my existence. I'm not looking to be only identified as a specialist in disability. And it doesn't affect my day-to-day life I do things normally, and I've discovered my own method of adjusting the things. It's a big element of my life and it's imperative to talk about the subject. Self-acceptance is a lifelong marathon however Lockhart is a true inspiration on that front. She still admits having gone through a few phases regarding her appearance, feeling insecure at times to wear clothing that displayed her arms. Nowadays, she dresses anything she likes and uploads images of her outfits to social media, she is proud of herself. The self-love she talks about is a process. It's not clear when you'll reach the end. This is a process, and I'm sure that you never get there. I believe having friends close to you who truly are aware of you and know the depths of your soul is vital as they'll be the ones that remind you of what are you worrying about?
