Katherine Heigl reveals with everyone regarding her "white bubble childhood" and how it's influenced how she raises her multiracial adopted children. In an interview with actress Katherine Heigl, who plays "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress admitted her looks didn't bother her. But after talking to her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society treated them, she became aware of the stark differences the two were. Meg was asked whether her treatment was different when they were out together with their parents or in the case of going out on their own. She replied: 'Oh sure, I was treated the same way all the time!' It made me realize I was naive," Heigl said to Parents. According to the actor she was furious. However, she wanted to channel her anger into helping the girls she adopted. Heigl, who has been with Josh Kelley for 13 years, have a son, Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. They have adopted Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion in 2009.
